Pakistani festival to screen four Iranian films

Four Iranian short titles are to be screened at the 60 Second Int’l Film Festival in Pakistan.

Four Iranian short titles have been set to be screened at the 9th edition of the 60 Second International Film Festival (60SIFF) in Pakistan.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported on Wednesday that ‘There will be Spring’, written and directed by Saeed Bahman, will be presented at the Pakistani festival this week.

According to a synopsis for the film, it is about “a person who is experiencing coronavirus quarantine’s fatigue and anxiety, but he sees a blooming tree and …”

Bahman is also taking part at the event with another short film named ‘Epiales’.

The 60SIFF will also feature Mohammad-Reza Mesaqi’s ‘Dark Days’ and Hassan Mokhtari’s ‘Password’ from Iran.

The festival is a platform for all young talented filmmakers from all over the world.

It encourages filmmakers to film their thoughts in 60 seconds on any of the given categories.

The 2020 edition of the festival will take place in Islamabad on August 14.
